Career Guidance and Post 16 Pathways at West Monmouth School 

At West Monmouth School, we are committed to equipping our pupils with the skills and knowledge they require for future success. To achieve this, we offer comprehensive career guidance in collaboration with Careers Wales, presenting various pathways that students may pursue to fulfil their career aspirations. Our programme includes a careers match quiz, access to job information, and personalised career discussions with a dedicated careers advisor.

Furthermore, pupils will be presented with opportunities during assemblies, where representatives from several Post 16 providers—such as Hereford College, Coleg Gwent, and Monmouth Haberdashers' School—deliver informative sessions. Notably, some of these institutions offer scholarships and bursaries for our students. We strive to ensure that our pupils have access to an abundance of information at their fingertips, empowering them to make informed decisions about their Post 16 pathways toward success.
